"Stilting" refers to Johannes Stilting who compiled and commented on documents pertaining to Hildegard's life, published in Acta Sanctorum Vol. 44 (Antwerp: 1755). When von der Linde says "Stilting, no.206" he is referring to a paragraph number in the first large section devoted to Hildegard in the Acta Sanctorum (pp.629-679).

Index of the most outstanding relics, or means of healing, reverently preserved in the most noble cloister of Eibingen, and each year on the afternoon of the celebration of Mary’s birth at all hours they are made available not only to be shown, but also to be kissed, with the pictures and rosaries to be caressed. At that time, too, water is blessed and into it many holy relics are dipped, and all who ask are given some to take away with them; it then is a cure for all kinds of illness, each person according to his belief. With the permission of the Superiors at Mainz, Johann Mayren, Court and University Printing Office, 1709...23 pages (Eibingen). p.3 Index....First, a piece of the Holy Cross on which Christ our Saviour hung, and on the four corners of which are drops of blood from Christ our Lord... Third may be seen the holy limbs of the body of the Holy Virgin and Abbess Hildegard who was a countess [?] [Gräffin] of Sponheim and who was the first donor of the monastery of St Rupertsberg and Eibingen. Here are also displayed her holy head, her holy heart, tongue, a joint of her thumb, her cape, her knife, blessed for her by the Abbot St Bernard, the comb with which she combed her hair, and in which many sensed a gentleness of spirit as they reverently combed their own hair. Her Feast Day is September 17th, and in order to earn total indulgence by all believers...Also preserved are many limbs and heads of the company of St Ursula. Comments

It seems that Schneider touched Hildegard's actual head, which is one of Eibingen's relics, with the copy of the leaflet that he planned to send to the library. The 'alma mater' is in this case the Landesbibliothek, whose most valuable possession is the Riesencodex, the main manuscript associated with Hildegard's works. I have a photocopy of this leaflet and can provide a copy on request.

This reference is a little confusing. I have found references to a book with this title by W. Smets published in 1818 in Koblenz, but I have not been able to look at it myself. I have also found in numerous places a book by Schreiber published as Handbuch für Reisende am Rhein. The link here is to an edition of the Handbuch from 1818. Schreiber here makes reference to Hildegard of Bingen on pp.141-2 and on p.157, relating the story about Bernhard quoted by van der Linde on pp.141-2.

Magazine published by the association for research on Rhenish history and antiquities in Mainz. Vol. I. (Mainz, 1845—1851. 8vo.) p. 44. "They (the nuns living in the Rubertsberg abbey, located on the left shore of the Nahe [river] before Bingen) hardly had time (upon the arrival of the Swedish army under the command of Ulrich from Hanau) to take along their documents, relics and treasures. Among them the curious artwork that is now owned by a lady in Winweiler: the comb, which Hildegard the lady of the castle in Böckelheim wore, before she became a nun; at a time where her pretty hair hadn’t been cut.” A cement replica of this comb, which was taken from Eibingen in 1814, can nowadays be found in the local antiquity museum.
