Comments
Here it looks like van der Linde was going from memory. This is the second of a series of four articles he published in the Archiv on the history of leprosy. He talks about Hildegard's description of leprosy on pp.285-288 in this article. In his fourth article, found in Vol. 20, 166-198, he very briefly mentions Hildegard on p.196, only to say that he included excerpts from Hildegard's writings in the second article.
